Who we are

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, company, role and login credentials. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
• Operational data: vessels, water analysis results, test parameters, notes and activity logs that you or your team enter in the web platform or the mobile app.
• Technical data: IP address, browser or device type, app version and server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• Website enquiries: the name, email address, phone number, company and message you send through the forms on this website.

Data collection & usage

We collect operational data solely for the purpose of providing water analysis tracking and fleet management services. We use your information to:

• provide, maintain and support the WaterLog platform and mobile app;
• authenticate users and keep accounts secure;
• respond to demo, sales and support requests;
• monitor reliability and fix problems;
• comply with our legal obligations.

Analytics and advertising

The WaterLog mobile app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

This website uses Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate page traffic and a Google Ads tag to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Access to production systems is limited to authorised personnel and managed under our ISO/IEC 27001 information security management system.

Third-party processing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with sub-processors strictly necessary for operational requirements (e.g., cloud infrastructure and email delivery providers), all of whom are vetted for GDPR and ISO compliance and contractually required to protect your data to the same standard described in this policy.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside Türkiye; where they do, we apply the safeguards required by applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law or by a competent authority.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account and operational data for as long as your account or your company's subscription is active. Website enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.

You can delete your account at any time in the WaterLog mobile app under Account → Delete account, or by emailing info@waterlog.com.tr. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymise its personal data without undue delay, except for records we are legally required to keep. Operational records belonging to your company's fleet remain available to your company as the account owner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Users in Türkiye have the rights described in our KVKK Notice.

Children

WaterLog is a business service and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will also notify you through the platform or by email.
