Personal data we process

• Identity data: name and surname.
• Contact data: email address and phone number.
• Customer transaction data: company, role, vessel and water analysis records, and the content of your requests.
• Transaction security data: login credentials, IP address and system logs.

Purposes of processing

• providing, operating and supporting the WaterLog platform and mobile app;
• managing user accounts and authentication;
• ensuring information security;
• answering demo, sales and support requests;
• carrying out our contracts and meeting our legal obligations.

Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically through the WaterLog web platform, mobile app, the forms on this website and email. It is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: processing being necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, for compliance with a legal obligation, and for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms. Where explicit consent is required, for example for marketing communications, we ask for it separately.

Transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be transferred, in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to the service providers we use to run our services (such as cloud infrastructure and email delivery providers), some of which are located abroad, and to authorised public institutions when required by law.

Your rights under Article 11

• to learn whether your personal data is processed;
• to request information about the processing;
• to learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly;
• to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred;
• to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• to request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7;
• to request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred;
• to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems;
• to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

You can send your requests to info@waterlog.com.tr or by post to Teknopark İzmir, A1, No: 34, İzmir, Türkiye, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
